The PISFA Induction of its Directors and Officers 2005-2007 was held at the Kachina Room , of the Century Park Hotel, Malate Manila last August 22, 2007. The Oath taking of New Officers was led by Hon. Francis Joseph “Chiz” Escudero.
1st Gawad Kalinga
Various Pisfa member companies joined the 1st Gawad Kalinga Freedom Build at Maralit compound, Barangay Don Bosco, Paranaque City last September 15, 2007. Headed by our energetic PISFA President and the rest of PISFA’s directors and members. Kids of the Maralit Compound danced and sang during the build. We also took the Oath of new members of Gawad Kalinga projects.
Sport Fest
The 7th Billiard and 11th PISFA Bowling Tournament reeled off last October 2007 at the Pearl Plaza Center, Paranaque City. The bowling tournament has 20 PISFA member companies who will compete until December 8, 2007. The Billiard Tourney ended last October 13, 2007 and the winners were from Sky Freight Forwarders (Champion and 1st Runner Up). The 2nd runner up went to Agility International, and Yusen Air and Sea Services Logistics, Inc. garnered the 3rd spot. The Billiard Tourney was under the auspices of Mr. Eduardo De Guzman and Mr. Mon Ramos.
29th Basic Freight Forwarding Seminar
The 29th basic freight forwarding seminar held at PISFA training room last October 1 to 5 2007.
General Membership Meeting
Last October 19 2007 PISFA had a general membership meeting. Several topics were discussed: induction, planning session, gawad kalinga, sports activities, board meeting, website, intercommerce. Master of Ceremonies was Atty ROmeo R. Sto Tomas
