Welcome to our Association

MESSAGE FROM THE PISFA PRESIDENT

It is my great pride to be part of this prestigious organization and be part of this momentous celebration.

Kudos to our predecessors for unselfishly cutting the weeds and trees and laying down the tracks to make us what are now.

In the midst of waves of nostalgia however, the truth is inescapable: there are vast challenges to face anew.  Thusly, the infinite necessity to invent and reinvent solutions for every obstacle there is.  For me, harnessing the basic foundation shall provide us a formidable vehicle to get us over, under, around or through it.

For more than two-decades of solid existence, we remain to be one of the professional and active organization.  Along that line is the thrust of gaining new ground, activism, leadership, collaboration, education and creating a new opportunities.

We are part of very recent history of the destructive force of nature – great part of the Metropolis and our northern provinces were submerged through and inundated by flood water.  I take this opportunity to extend my sympathies to those heavily affected, industry brothers and sisters and the general public.  It when she makes her nuanced points succinctly and remarks “Life is like tennis, you don’t have a choice how the ball will come to you, what matters is how you will hit back…”

It is therefore a challenge to all of us individually and concertedly to rise up to the occasion.  It is a challenge to PISFA to look much like it is for the last 25 years – united and at its best in times of great challenges.

A challenge to be consummate industry professionals and scale greater heights of excellence is yet another great challenge to us…

A united PISFA is the catalyst of highest degree of professionalism and greater excellence.

Cheers to all of us!

Shippers’ Council had been looking forward to have such an organization to serve as a forum for the government and the private sector in threshing out problems that  hinder the development of the freight forwarding industry which is an integral part in the promotion of the country’s international trade.
